Places to Eat in Stamford

The Meadows Restaurant is located on Stamford Street in Stamford and overlooks the meadows and the River Welland.  It serves morning and afternoon tea and coffee with light fare such as scones and clotted cream.  The lunch menu offers traditional  English dishes and pasta dishes.  The dinner menu offers lamb, beef, pork, halibut and venison.  The dessert menu for both lunch and dinner is to die for.  In the warmer months the terrace is open for dining.  Parking is available in the rear.

Lunch service is 12 pm to 2:30 pm.

Dinner service is 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Ye Olde Bertie Arms Stamford Lincolnshire Ye Olde Bertie Arms is a thatched pub built in 1681. Consequently it has a great old pub atmosphere. Located just outside Stamford at Uffington going north on the A16, this pub serves a typical English pub menu. It has a nice vegetarian selection and children's menu. There is an outdoor eating area for warm days. It is open seven days a week and serves food all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Bull and Swan on St. Martins near the center of Stamford offers traditional English food at a reasonable price.  This inn is popular with the locals.
