Grey Seals at Donna Nook
From mid-November to about the third week in December the grey seals come to the dunes on the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve at Donna Nook to give birth. This is a great outing for the whole family. It is important to not take your dog and to stay away from the seals. A frightened mother can bite. Also if you find a baby seal that looks like it is abandoned, leave it alone. The mothers go out to sea during the day. They come back at night to feed their babies.
