Butlins at SkegnessButlins is the place to go if you are traveling with children.If you are traveling with children under the age of five, Butlins offers a children's playground, puppet castle shows, and parent-toddler sessions including stories, painting, fancy dress, and music. At the Splash Waterworld there is a shallow water area and swimming lessons are also provided. A nursery with certified staff is available in two-hour sessions--one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Children from six to preteen will enjoy activities from sports, outdoor adventure playground, and indoor soft play area, theatre shows, and children's films. Members of the Kids Club will have all sorts of free activities such as painting classes, circus workshops, stage school, models, and football coaching. Don't forget the Splash Waterworld with slides, flumes, wave machines, and raft rides. Teens will like go-karting, pool, table tennis, football coaching, snooker, ten-pin bowling, basketball, hockey, volleyball and, of course, Splash Waterworld. Also for teens are film-making classes, DJ workshops, and lessons in TV presenting. For evenings there are club nights for teens and DJ's playing the hottest songs. Adults have fun at Butlins also!
Nursery services are available evenings if you are traveling with children and you don't have to have a designated driver because your accommodation is within walking distance. Relax at The Spa. Enjoy a tranquil swimming pool, hydro therapy pool, steam bath, storm shower, sauna, and the fitness suite. Treatments include Decleor treatments, manicures, fantasy tans, back massage, healing stone massage, and chocolate body treatment. There is an adjoining hair and beauty salon. Accommodation choices are endless at Butlins. You have choices from a regular, standard hotel room, hotel room with kitchenette, hotel room with kitchinette, and lounge, and two-bedroom apartments that sleep six. For less than £10 per person extra (less for children) you can have all-you-can-eat breakfast and three-course-dinner. Baby food and bottle warming is available. Static caravans are also available if you would rather not do the hotel thing.
